Katsuo-ji Temple Tickets

Visiting from the city

Katsuo-ji feels far from Osaka but is comfortably a half day trip, and walkers can approach through the Minoh valley from the famous waterfall trail for a full mountain day. The temple’s calm midweek is worth prizing; November weekends bring leaf season crowds.

Getting there

From Senri-Chuo Station on the Kita-Osaka Kyuko line, direct from Umeda via the Midosuji Line, buses run to the temple gates in around 30 minutes, though services are limited so check times both ways. Taxis from Minoh or Senri-Chuo are the flexible alternative, and drivers find parking at the gate.
