VS PARK EXPOCITY Osaka

Inside the giant EXPOCITY complex north of Osaka, VS PARK turns a floor of LaLaport into an arena of Japanese TV style physical challenges. Sprint against a stampeding animal on a huge screen, dive, dodge and duel your friends through dozens of games, all included with admission for your session.

Game after game

The park’s calling card is the sprint track where a projected beast races you down the lane, but it is one of many: reflex based light walls, balance battles, mini sports courts and novelty challenges rotate through the space, each taking only minutes so groups keep cycling. Nothing requires skill to be funny, and most games are actually funnier when someone is bad at them. It is as close as you will get to starring in a Japanese game show without a casting call.

Make it an EXPOCITY day

You are next door to NIFREL, the living museum run by the Kaiyukan aquarium team, and to one of Japan’s largest ferris wheels, while the Tower of the Sun looms over Expo Commemoration Park across the road. Sneakers and comfortable clothes are essential for VS PARK itself.

Getting there

Take the Osaka Monorail to Bampaku-kinen-koen Station, connecting from the Midosuji subway line at Senri-Chuo or from Hankyu at Yamada; EXPOCITY is a short walk from the station. From Umeda the trip takes around half an hour.
